Exploring unique concepts is what makes photography so exciting. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with the talented Luzia, who absolutely owned her cyberpunk cat outfit. The outfit, made from sleek latex both bodysuit and gloves, had an incredible sheen that played beautifully with the light.
To push the boundaries of a traditional studio shoot, we decided to use a location you might not expect: a shower. The glossy tiles and reflective surfaces of the shower created some truly dynamic shots. We lit the entire area with a vivid purple light to give it that authentic cyberpunk feel, which made the black latex pop even more and Luzia showed off their flexibility whilst in front of my camera. This creative choice allowed us to capture a futuristic and edgy aesthetic, proving that the most interesting photos can come from the most unexpected places.
