I’ve always been drawn to the darker side of photography. There’s something undeniably captivating about capturing raw emotions, dramatic lighting, and enigmatic subjects. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to work with a model named Purplemuffinz, and our shoot at Murder Mile Studio was nothing short of a revelation.
Purplemuffinz arrived at the studio exuding an aura of confidence and mystery. Dressed in a sleek, shiny black latex glove and outfit with matching black corset and boots that seemed to glow in the dim light, especially in the purple and blue lights, they commanded attention. As I explored the studio’s gothic aesthetic, I knew I had found the perfect backdrop for our vision.
The moment Purplemuffinz took their seat in the imposing gothic chair, everything clicked into place. Their domineering pose, combined with the studio’s dramatic lighting, created an atmosphere that was both powerful and alluring. I found myself experimenting with angles, shadows, and composition in ways I hadn’t before. It was as if the studio itself was inspiring me to push my creative boundaries.
The entire shoot was an exhilarating experience. Purplemuffinz’s energy was contagious, and their willingness to try different poses and expressions made the process a lot of fun. As a photographer, it’s incredibly rewarding to collaborate with a model who is so passionate about their craft.
