The anticipation crackled like static in the air. This wasn’t just another shoot; it was a reunion. Reuniting with the electrifying SJ Jinxx, a model whose energy and talent had left an indelible mark on my previous collaboration. This time, the runway awaited, a blank canvas ready to be splashed with our creative vision.
Photographing a shiny latex bodysuit made by Breathless, requires a delicate touch. Capturing its brilliance without succumbing to harsh glare or washed-out highlights is a balancing act. But with SJ Jinxx as my muse, the challenge became thrilling.
We experimented with soft, diffused lighting, creating a halo effect that accentuated the curves of the bodysuit without losing its metallic sheen. Strategic angles played with light and shadow, transforming the fabric into a liquid sculpture, morphing with every movement. All, taken at the wonderful studio Kevin Pack’s Studio at AWOL Studios.
