Streetlights & Stardust: Capturing SJ Jinxx with Light Painting

The streets of Manchester became a canvas of light and magic in a recent collaboration between myself and the captivating SJ Jinxx.

SJ Jinxx was a celestial being adorned with magnificent Isis wings. The wings, catching the fading light, seemed to shimmer with an otherworldly glow. But the real magic happened when we introduced light painting. With each deliberate movement of a light source, trails of vibrant colour danced across the scene, weaving stories of light and shadow around Jinxx.

The urban landscape of Manchester provided a unique contrast. Streetlights cast a warm, golden hue, while the light painting trails added bursts of vibrant energy and colour.

My camera lens captured the fleeting beauty of the light trails and the captivating expressions on SJ Jinxx’s face. Each click documented a different moment in this celestial dance – a playful twirl, a determined gaze, or a hand reaching out towards the painted light. The challenge of synchronizing movement and light painting added a layer of excitement to the shoot, and the final results are a testament to the teamwork and creativity involved.
